11-5-12: State Pest Association Launches New, Enhanced Website

New site provides more opportunity for member input and greater access to updated association news

Raleigh, N.C. — The North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) has unveiled its new website which is designed to highlight association news and enhance communication with its members. The new site, which launched in early October, offers updates and news about the association and a new, members-only section that allows for easier communication between the association and its member companies.

The site can be accessed at www.ncpestmanagement.org.

“Like our former site, this new site provides information for the public but goes one step further in opening the door of communication with our member companies,” said Kristin Dodd of NCPMA.  “It opens a new chapter for the association and gives our members easy access to the association at any time of day.”

The new members-only section of the site allows members to register for events and classes, renew memberships and join the association from any computer at any time.  The new updated, online membership directory allows members to update their contact information from the site.  Members can also access the association newsletters from the members-only section.

“As a statewide association, we are always looking for better ways to serve our members.  This new site gives our members more flexibility and mobility in how they communicate with us,” Dodd said.

The new website also provides enhancements for other site visitors and the general public.  Event announcements are published on the homepage along with an updated membership directory that allows anyone to locate a pest management company by name or zip code.

A revised Resources page provides links to other pest management-related websites.
