April proclaimed Pest Management Month in North Carolina

Raleigh, N.C. – In honor of the first Pest Management Month in North Carolina, the North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) is again offering the NCPMA PestLine, an electronic hotline that will allow consumers to receive answers to their pest management questions directly from pest management experts. This is the second year of the NCPMA PestLine which launched in 2013.

Governor Pat McCrory recently proclaimed that April 2014 will be known as Pest Management Month in the state of North Carolina.

The NCPMA PestLine will accept questions from consumers through three methods.

  • Emails to pestline@ncpestmanagement.org
  • Twitter to @ncpestmgmt with hashtag #ncpmapestline
  • Facebook, NC Pest Management Association

“Pest Management Month provides an opportunity to raise awareness of the benefits of professional pest management practices.  We realize that pest management is constantly changing and that consumers are facing new pest challenges each day, and we are proud to offer the NCPMA PestLine for North Carolinians for the second year,” said Kristin Dodd of NCPMA. “NCPMA PestLine will help consumers find the answers that they’re searching for while connecting them with qualified, trained pest management professionals.”

The NCPMA PestLine begins April 1 and will continue through the end of the month.
