Raleigh, N.C. — The North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) today announced the launch of its newest initiative, NCPMA In Action. NCPMA In Action is an initiative designed to encourage community involvement and outreach by the state’s pest management professionals.
“NCPMA In Action is a program that recognizes the good work that our members are doing in their communities and encourages them to continue that good work,” said Kristin Dodd of Carolina Pest Management in Monroe and NCPMA board member. “We know that our members are active in their communities and already donate to families and causes in need in their communities. NCPMA In Action will also provide them with opportunities to expand and further their commitments to their local communities and to the state as a whole.”
NCPMA In Action kicked off in December 2014 with a statewide Bed Bug Treatment Campaign. NCPMA members statewide donated free bed bug treatments to families in need in their communities.
NCPMA In Action will provide opportunities for NCPMA members to participate in statewide philanthropic and outreach initiatives throughout the year. NCPMA In Action will include opportunities to volunteer with fellow NCPMA members at NCPMA events or campaigns designed to reach each corner of the state.
